FANTASY in DREAMS

By Karen Mosby & Dr. Barbara Condron

Everyone has fantasies.

Children fantasize about being heroes or princesses. Adults have fantasies of being movie stars, being millionaires, or spies with expensive cars and beautiful woman. A fantasy is a way to use the imagination in non-productive ways as the mind is allowed to wander without intelligent direction. Most adults have not learned how to transform their skill at producing fantasies into directed imaging which is termed visualization.
