Thanks, Dr. Pam, for your
Thanks, Dr. Pam, for your response. It’s great to hear from you, too! I really appreciate your insight into the outline dream. I’m not sure I would have come up with your suggestion that “you have been in your brain throughout your day. This means your thinking has been only in words.”
I went back to my dream journal after I read your response to discover what I had done the day of the dream. It was on a Saturday, which is often my “play day,” for the week. I am getting to know a woman I enjoy being with, and we had lunch together that day, and spent several hours talking that evening. We both tend to be intellectuals, and she has drawn me into her circle of friends which includes professors from Baylor and the Junior College here. We attend several book groups each month where the studies are usually on intellectual subjects such as quantum physics in light of ancient spiritual traditions, cutting-edge self-improvement technology, and “green” technology. This woman reads dozens of books each year and meditates daily. I often challenge this woman and others in these book groups to find something in everything they read to apply to their daily lives. Otherwise, what is the point in collecting all of this information? (I’m sure you recall that I have had a longstanding habit of "collecting information", as well!)
After I came home from her house, I spent 6 to 8 hours reading on the internet, and listening to interviews through YouTube. So you were correct in your assessment that I had been “in my brain throughout the day.”
This DreamSchool experience reinforces for me the importance of the practice of jotting down a couple of notes regarding the day's activities in my Dream Journal so that I can more easily determine what thoughts and attitudes are reflected in my dreams. I also see the importance of getting objective insight into dreams when I don't readily see how they apply to my daily life.
I will resolve to engage my body/mind in experiences of service and learning with purpose, rather than just adding more information to my brain.
Thanks for your insight.

Your thoughtful and thorough
Your thoughtful and thorough response has opened another door to expanding self awareness. I desire to gain mastery of language of mind. I will re-read what you have shared, applying it when fitting, until I am able to receive it fully. Your admonition of meditation and evolution of thinking from neg and pos to weak and strong will assist me in comprehending fully. I look forward to another opportunity to participate in the forum again. The more that I learn.....the more I realize how much more I desire to learn. I will read Power v. Force too. Thanks again, Donna Cook
Lucid dreaming is the
Lucid dreaming is the experience of being aware that you are dreaming while dreaming. It is being awake in a dream. As dreamers experience this kind of awareness, it awakens them to the truth that they are more than a physical body, that they have existence beyond the physical senses and conscious mind. This, then can aid the dreamer to be more attentive in physical waking reality. As a person becomes more aware and "awake" in physical waking life, they in turn have more lucid dreams. The ability to learn from experience while in the experience heightens. Waking up in our dreams aids us to wake up in our daily life!
The subconscious mind
The subconscious mind fulfills the conscious mind's desires, so the first step is to form a clear, complete and distinct desire AND EXPECTATION of remembering the dream. Writing down the desire before going to sleep is important. Upon awakerning, it's important to write something down in the dream notebook even if the dreamer doesn't remember anything. Sometimes the act of writing stimulates some memory of the dream. It's important to continue to believe and to act in faith that your subconscious mind will respond; sometimes people get discouraged and then expect NOT to remember. You get what you expect!
It helps to sleep in 90-minute cycles. When an alarm interrupts your sleep it can interfere with dream recall. So sleeping for 4 1/2 hours may be better than 5 hours; 6 hours better than 6 1/2 because those are divisible by 90 minutes. Another helpful hint is to read your dream notebook before drifting off to sleep and to affirm to your subconscious mind that you will interpret and act on the dream message. Some dreamers write dreams down and then don't interpret them, which is telling your subconscious mind that you're not serious. You want to be serious about using the message.
One last tip. Sometimes nutritional deficiencies can affect dream recall. Vitamin B6 and zinc are supposed to aid in the remembering of dreams. It's worth a try.
Why is lucid dreaming
Why is lucid dreaming important?
What can someone do to
What can someone do to remember his/her dreams, particularly people who are actively "trying" with a dream notebook and telling themselves they want to remember their dreams? (but still not having success)
It is estimated that 30% of
It is estimated that 30% of children will experience a night terror at some time, although they can happen at any age. They are different from nightmares. Nightmares are dreams that provoke strong emotion. We remember them. Night terrors are characterized by movement in the body (they move often shaking and the child's eyes are usually open yet they do not see) and paralyzation of the mind. Crying is associated with the night terror, it lasts for up to 30 minutes, and will not be remembered by the sleeper in the morning. So as a parent don't bring it up or turn it into a conscious mind problem for the child. Education, which is what you are asking for, is the answer.
There is much info online about night terrors now. As with anything else, you will need to know how to determine truth from falsehood to know what education will serve the whole Self. An article at dreamschool outlines nine steps to take as a concerned parent go to www.dreamschool.org/NewSite/articles/NightTerrors.html
What I will add is the Mind perspective. What is called night terrors is more a problem for the person accompanying the sleeper (you, the parent) than for the person experiencing them. They are akin to sleep walking, sleep talking, and sleep eating. The experience is having the attention split between the inner levels and the outer level of consciousness. The connections between the two are interrupted and the person is momentarily trapped between two worlds not able to wake up and not able to go back to sleep. It brings new meaning to attention deficit.
I would add one more element that is not addressed in the article noted above. Limit or eliminate tech (video games in particular) from your child's world. Yes, I know it has become, in such a short number of years, virtually impossible. It can be done. And for your child's health and well-being, you can do it. Parents tend to ignore the truth that they are the ones who bring the technology into the home. Making these sometimes tough choices are part of being a conscious parent. Educating self and being an example of the truth you see is a powerful influence.
Keep in mind the dream is
Keep in mind the dream is about the dreamer's conscious state of awareness. Although the woman says she has come to terms with the experience, the dream says there is more work for her to do. Subconscious mind does tell us "like it is". Like an objective reporter who is completely uninvolved in the decision-making of the happening, subconscious mind reports the state of affairs in the dreamer's consciousness. This is why one of the purposes of sleep is to assimilate the previous day's experience.
The symbology in this dream indicates the woman has changed. The woman's response is the need for further change – "what comes to her mind when she sees this man presently in waking life is 'dying'." This is a subconscious aspect that needs to be understood. The dream even tells her what that understanding is: forgiveness.
When working with dreams, remember the subconscious mind may be permanent from the conscious mind's point of view; however, when the whole Mind is taken into consideration, subconscious mind is temporary from the superconscious mind's point of view. Perhaps that's why the woman was talking with this man in the dream.
Dreams echo from the
Dreams echo from the subconscious mind to the conscious mind. To remember a dream, something in the message catches the conscious attention. Its like a tractor beam "locking onto" the vibrations emanating from the inner mind. The dreamer's powers of concentration determine the depth and scope of dream recall.
Also, since time and space are measured differently in Subconscious Mind than they are in Conscious Mind, the saying time is relative is most appropriate. You may consciously think the dream was brief yet when you start to describe it in words it can sometimes take a half hour or more to record. This is owing to the workings of the Universal Law of Relativity.
So, if you want to remember more details in your dreams, practice a concentration exercise everyday. Since you are a SOM student, you now know another benefit to practicing that candle concentration exercise. The results will start showing in your dream recall and be employed later for inner level work.
When one is haunted when
When one is haunted when awake, there are thoughts, ideas, and events from the past that are lingering in one's mind, unresolved. Sometimes we don't know what is bothering us. Whatever has been left unsettled remains in our consciousness. We may feeling "bad" about something that happened. We may be scared of something we haven't figured out. We may be resentful or longing for some long passed pleasure. To be haunted means something in the past is intruding upon the present, unwanted and unbidden by our conscious minds. This is why hauntings are associated with things that are unconscious.
These unresolved thoughts are incomplete thoughts. They are unfinished. They leave undefined impressions in the subconscious mind. They are like half-painted portraits or partially read books or the "I love yous" you never said.
Since this is a repeated experience for you, the first key to unraveling these dreams is examining your conscience when you are awake. Learning how to resolve is an important step toward resurrecting consciousness. When Jesus reached a point of living in Mind he could identify how we can allow the past to rule our thinking, so he counseled them to "Let the dead bury the dead". This means identifying what draws your attention away from the present moment into a past where things are there but not there, existing yet with no permanence. The POWERS of TEN day out of time experience is dedicated to teaching people how to be in Mind, admit polarity thinking, and resolve the imbalances. You might want to talk with your teacher outside of class about this or for those in self-study the books Master Living and The Wisdom of Solomon can provide insight.
The Dreamer's Dictionary describes dream-ghosts as unidentified inner level bodies. Hopefully now you understand why.

Hello. I recently was asked
Hello. I recently was asked to interpret a dream for a woman. In her dream, she had gone with her mother to a funeral. They saw the body of a man in a casket. At the funeral was a man who had sexually abused her and others as children. Her mother was talking to this man. (The woman says she herself has come to terms with the experience and now what comes to her mind when she sees this man presently in waking life is "dying". He completely neglects his physical self, his teeth, hygiene, etc.) Back to the dream, the dreamer thought, in her dream, how could her mother talk to that man. The dreamer thought she could not forgive someone who would do something like that to her own child. The dream then shifted. My question is for clarification. We know that our subconscious mind only speaks truth and has our best interest in mind. So I would like clarification on how you interpret such a subconscious aspect. Thanks, Diana.

Hello and thank you for this
Hello and thank you for this opportunity. I was wonder what is the significance of being haunted in a dream? I repeatedly have dreams involving an unseen ghostly presence. I may be in a haunted house or hotel. examples of being haunted is knowing a ghost is there, feeling the ghost touch me, hearing a ghost, feeling light headed and dizzy because of a spirit presence. I have never seen these ghosts. Most times I run from the ghosts but in one dream I stopped and asked what it wanted and the invisible force took me and levitated me. I woke up just as I was letting the spirit take me through the ceiling.

Thanks for having a forum
Thanks for having a forum such as this where we not only get our dreams interpreted for soul growth but, also a place to learn the universal language, from the interpretation of others dream.
I appreciate your instructions to help me recall my dream experience
Yes, the difference in
Yes, the difference in physical– man created languages and the divine soul language is point of origin. Physical languages are created through trial and error and locality. That’s why there are over 6000 languages in the world, over 300 in India alone. Languages have come and gone on Earth. You’ve probably heard Latin referred to as a dead language because it is not spoken anymore. We owe much of that to anglicacizing Catholic mass. In a POWERS of TEN fashion, American English has become such a mutating language that it is clumsy and intimidating to the learner – as my 14 year old often reminds me.
The Universal Language of Mind is a way of communicating thought. It is a language of function – meaning how the mind is used is reflected in its communication. Its origin is Spirit which is why all thinkers experience this language. The place reasoning holds in this is activating the power in the conscious mind to receive, remember, acknowledge, interpret, understand and respond so the dream circuit can be completed.
Great question, wonderful
Great question, wonderful answer!
Just recently I had someone raise their hand in a lecture I was giving on “Understanding Dreams” and ask me nearly that exact same question. Although my response was a bit different, my answer was the same—being, a car is used for transporting one’s body from place to place, therefore, car=physical body in the Universal Language of Mind.
And, that is what I love about the School of Metaphysics.
Someone with 3 months, 3 years, or over 30 years experience of interpreting dreams—such as Dr. Barbara Condron—will arrive at the same answer because the answer is rooted in reasoning. The Universal Language of Mind, the language that dreams communicate in, is also based on reasoning. As a reasoner, the language becomes a beautiful, eclectic, key that opens the door of understanding and reveals Truth.
What a great question! It
What a great question! It tells us you will probably be able to use what the School of Metaphysics teaches because you are already a good reasoner. Your question is well-founded and there is an answer. Physical languages – English, Chinese, or Swahili – developed over centuries to describe the experiences of tribes or citizens. These are a language of forms.
In Understanding Your Dreams, Dr. Daniel Condron writes,
This may help you understand the nature of communication, the process of relaying and receiving information mind to mind. In our waking lives communication depends upon a mutual language that is understood by those conversing. As a child if I want to communicate with my parents, I learn their language. As I age, I may want to learn other languages as well, to communicate with more people.
Communicating with the inner self is similar. Dreams are communications from the inner subconscious mind to the outer conscious mind. Learning the language the mind uses – the language of function – frees the dreamer to awaken to the true reality taught by all spiritual Masters. This is the key to answering your question.
In the greater picture of humanity’s evolution, man has become more creative. We have created cars and skyscrapers and airplanes and computers. These inventions now appear in dreams. They did not appear 500 years ago because they had yet to be invented! This is both a reflection of humanity’s evolution, in your example of the car this shows as only recently has mankind separated consciousness-ego-identity from the physical body it inhabits. In the case of Moses, if his subconscious mind wanted to communicate to him about his physical body, it probably did so with the symbol of a chariot or other type of carriage. The symbol is one of function – in this case a car is a means of transporting a person’s body from one place to another. In Biblical times the transport was a chariot or wagon since the car had yet to be invented.

Yes! You are talking about
Yes! You are talking about what dream scholars over the past twenty years have tagged as "dream incubation". The words are richly chosen. This is mind science. The process of creating in the conscious mind and releasing that creation to subconscious mind for manifestation is called visualization. It can be seen as controlled daydreaming and as such is the waking counterpart to night dreaming.
Dream incubation describes visualizing dream experiences. This can be solving a problem or developing a new idea or, in this instance, replaying the dream of our conscious choice. Success in this endeavor depends completely on the mental skill and power of the practitioner. This is why at Schools of Metaphysics we teach Mind and the development of consciousness. We teach the science of how to use visualization in this way in the sophomore year of the course.
Dreams are the major way the waking mind recognizes inner level communication. At this point, it is more helpful for you to receive what was given. I realize the curiosity is great, yet if in all honesty, if you were prepared for "the rest of the story", you would have stayed there for it. This level of acceptance may be the heart of the dream itself. When the superconscious mind addresses the dreamer's commitment level, that is a message worth chewing on for a while. Assimilating its meaning may be the instruction you are seeking for that kind of mind activity is surely your response to the dream-teacher's question. It demonstrates your commitment.
Should this happen again, you can respond right away by relaxing your breathing, closing your eyes and holding in your mind the final scene of the dream experience. Giving undivided attention to this will help you enter that dreamstate when you release your conscious mind attention. Then all you will need to do is recall the experience, remember the dream that comes.
My question is: If in a
My question is:
If in a dream you are explaining a dream to a teacher and she said to you, "I hope you commit to doing it" and do not remember what the instructions were, is it possible to have that same dream again in order to remember the instructions?
Thank You.

We are all connected in mind.
We are all connected in mind. This means that when someone things a thought, it afffects everyone, no matter where their physical body is. I can be living in the United States and my thoughts can affect someone in Australia. In dreams, we have access to this universal sea of subconsciousness. Some people are more receptive to these inner level energies, either from practice of mental discipline or past understood experience or being naturally sensitive.
There are times when there are thoughts and energies that have a great influence on a large number of people. Often, when these "mass media" events occur, people around the globe report having had dreams about them. This can aid the dreamer to be more prepared, to experience the event with less shock, at times to be in a position to aid other people. In this way, they can be a positive influence in the lives of people around them. Sometimes people who experience precognitions receive this as a "wake up call" to live life more purposefully, to become aware that we all influence one another and it is important to be responsible for and responsive to the influence we have.
Hi Karen, Good to hear from
Hi Karen,
Good to hear from you, and I'm glad I'm able to respond to your dream.
First of all, let's look at how words in a book can be interpreted in the Universal Language of Mind. It is in the brain that we use words to identify ideas, experiences and feelings. These are in the form of words. Part of the function of the brain is to receive impressions through the five senses and store these experiences in the form of memory. When the conscious mind wants to describe an experience, this is done with words using the memory in the brain.
When you have these dreams of reading from a book, you have been in your brain throughout your day. This means your thinking has been only in words. You are aware that you need to use more of your faculties to truly understand the situations in your life because you are forming images and evoking emotions in the dream. The colors on the paper highlighting different words are the connections you are trying to make of how the different experiences are related.
In regard to dream time, psychologists have studied this in people while they sleep and found dreams do occur in short segments throughout the night as indicated by REM or rapid eye movement. So dreams do only last a short time. However you can continue with a theme or story line of a dream throughout the night which makes it seem like the dream continues uninterrupted.
Why do people have
Why do people have precognitive dreams about events that don't directly concern them?
Once every few years, I have
Once every few years, I have a dream that has no images, no people, or
objects in it except the pages of a book. This is not a recurring
dream, because they are all different. Throughout the dream I read the
pages of the book, and as I read the words on the pages, I form images
in my mind's eye, and feel emotions evoked by the words. When I
awaken, I recall the dream, but I have not, to date, recalled what the
words said.
Last Saturday night I had this type of dream again, except instead of
a book, I was reading pages and pages of a formal outline. The only
outlines I have ever personally written were enumerated with Roman
numerals. This outline was as follows:
1.
1.0
1.1
2.0
2.1, etc.
With text written beside each numeral. I awakened once each hour for
three hours, (twice left the bed and then came back and went back to
sleep) and every time I awakened, I was still reading the pages of
this outline. And, as before, I recall nothing of the text I seemed to
be reading for literally hours.
As I read the outline, sections pertinent to particular topics would
appear highlighted in pastel colors, with one particular topic all the
way through the document perhaps highlighted in pale blue, and another
topic would be pale yellow, another pale green, etc., and the colors
would alternate throughout the document. It was not like a highlighter
had been used on the document, it was as if the paper, itself, turned
different colors behind particular text.
So, in summary, these are my questions:
What is the meaning of a dream that you must read to get "the story"?
How long do dreams last?
I've always believed it was a few minutes,
perhaps seconds, but I know I was sleeping over a period of 3 hours,
and each hour when I awakened, I was in this same dream, reading
different pages each time.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Karen Low

How did People get around
How did People get around before Cars?
I spend many hours browsing your website on 9 July and halfway through the process of enrolling for the 101Intro course, I hesitated and stop.
During a still period last night in bed I intuitively found the reason for the hesitation and would like to know your opinion about it.
The answer to question 11 (of the 25 most common) contains the following "small vehicles (ex: a car, small plane, boat) represent your physical body". From this quotation I deduce that this linkage (of car=physical body) is part of the symbols of Universal Language of the Mind.
If so, what then was the symbol that Abraham, Moses and David used in their dreams for the physical body? Because there was no cars!
Thank you for responding

First of all, it is important
First of all, it is important for dreamers to be aware that ALL dreams can be interpreted symbolically in the Universal Language of Mind and in that way each dream has a message for the dreamer about his or her state of consciousness. So, for example, if someone dreams of the death of a person he knows, the dream is telling the dreamer of a change that is occurring in him or herself, in the aspect of self represented by that person.
The question then is, how do you know if it is also a foreshadowing of an event that is occurring in physical, waking reality? Most dreamers who keep dream journals note over time that they become aware of a certain quality in dreams that are actual inner level experiences. They may report that it "feels" real, or that there is a kind of objectivity and clarity in the dream itself. Usually the emotion of fear or terror in the dream occurs when it is symbolic; when it is a precognition there is often the experience of simply observing with objectivity the event. When the dreamer awakens and remembers the dream, once the conscious mind and conscious ego get involved, then there may be fear or out-of-control emotion.
Another indication of an actual inner level experience or precognition/clairvoyance is that all of the people, places, and things in the dream are consistent with physical waking reality. Aunt Martha wears the kind of clothes she wears in waking life and lives in the house she lives in during physical waking reality. She is driving her car and living in the city in which she lives in physical waking reality. Dreams that are symbolic may have mixed symbols; Aunt Martha is in a dream with your high school sweetheart even though they never knew one another. Or she is drinking coffee which seems odd to you in the dream because Aunt Martha is a confirmed tea drinker in physical waking reality.
One benefit of keeping a dream journal over time is to have a record of dreams and then the actual experiences in physical, waking reality. This gives a dreamer a kind of scientific report that can aid him or her to discern what qualities or characteristics of dreams recur when they are clairvoyant. Sometimes, in the beginning, a dreamer may have a sense that a dream is precognitive but doesn't know until after the fact (after the event happened in physical life) that it was, indeed, a precognitive dream.
Since we have the ability to choose, dreamers may decide to make different choices that alter the outcome of an event. Then the dream is no longer precognitive! For example, a dreamer who dreams of getting into a car crash may recognize when awake the exact same conditions that appeared in a dream. As a result of this awareness, he slows down and moves over and therefore the car that was driving too fast behind him misses him rather than crashing into him as in the dream. In this way, some dreams can give us foreknowledge that aids us to make better choices.
How do you know when a dream
How do you know when a dream is precognitive/clairvoyant or when it is purely symbolic?
Welcome Donna! We are glad
Welcome Donna! We are glad to hear your thoughts about REAL TIME as a TEACHER. It is meant to be an asset to dreamschool scholars and your feedback tells us we are manifesting that purpose. Your questions are just the kind that can assist students to become versed in the Universal Language thereby increasing their acumen in understanding and aiding others. They also reflect the depth of thinking produced from SOM Correspondence study, so they will contribute greatly to the education of those who have yet to study Mind.
I have continued to learn since first writing The Dreamer’s Dictionary, and what I am going to say will reflect that experience and understanding. The discussion on aspects on page 287 of The Dreamer’s Dictionary is most helpful in aiding others to recognize the polarity that arises in physical thinking. The way the dreamer describes the dream tells you everything you need to know about that dreamer’s state of awareness in the present moment.
For instance, the dream scene is a large tiger leaping out of a cupboard toward the dreamer.
One dreamer writes, “I was in the kitchen and heard something strange, like scratching. I spun around and a gigantic tiger, who had sprung out of the cabinet, attacked me.”
Dreamer two writes, “I came into the kitchen and heard something scratching in the cupboard. I went to investigate and a big tiger jumped out at me. I had just enough time to catch him in my arms.
Similar dream images, different interpretation of what is happening. This is the essence of interpreting consciousness. Perception is the key. How we view the world gives us the reality we live. The first dreamer is cautious, maybe suspicious, on edge and afraid. We know this by the description. Dreamer two is attentive, curious, adventurous, and probably affectionate. This can be deduced through how the dreamer describes the dream experience. This addresses the polarity you describe in the “negative” dream-person.
The truth is we reveal ourselves with every thought. There has been much attention given to the Law of Attraction in the past two years. A workable knowledge of its functioning is helpful in moving beyond the limits of polarity (a function of the Law of Duality). This is where figures of speech like “spot it, got it” have real meaning. The Dhammapada, the Buddhist canon, begins by describing the nature of reality in how we think and what results from those thoughts. The Bible teaches it as “Judge not, lest you be judge” which is not so much a command of ceasing an activity as an instruction on why we can even make judgements and what it means when we do. In this light, when we describe a dream tiger as gigantic and attacking we are revealing our own thoughts.
So the first lesson is to know the Self. Look in the mirror for evidence of a way to change or improve. Afterall, that’s why we have the dreams in the first place. It is worth saying that sometimes people are not self-aware. Sometimes we know people a certain way and it is not who they are or see themselves as being. Think about the reports of people who all of a sudden steal or kill and those who know him can’t believe such a nice person could do such a thing. That’s an extreme example, of course, yet it conveys the nature of polarity and attraction.
You are definitely on the right track concerning how the subconscious mind will nudge us toward becoming more whole. This can appear as you describe, the selfish person in the dream is the one helping someone else. This would be an example of the subconscious mind encouraging someone to recognize self-interest in every act of service. Keep in mind, the dream refers to the Mind activity primarily the day before the dream. Ordinary dreams, which is what most people have, are state of conscious awareness dreams.
You also describe the developed reasoning in interpreting and putting the elements of the dream together – unconscious aspects in the basement idea. This is where your study as a School of Metaphysics student shows. You are integrating the elements of the dream, and this question can stimulate new students to see what lies ahead in their dream study and where they can go in consciousness exploration.
As feedback for you, yes, after identifying the independent variables in the dream, stepping back for the whole picture unlocks the dream message. This is an engagement of the left and right brain activities that enables YOUR whole mind to function in the interpretation you offer. Always keep in mind, the dreamer is the final authority in what the dream means. We can offer insight into how they relate to the whole mind and the waking life. This brings in another Universal Law, the Law of Relativity.
Concerning your difficulty with unconscious aspects in places outside the basement, look at it this way. The place points to where the dreamer’s attention is directed. So if the unconscious aspect is at work, the dreamer is unaware of some element of productivity. If at church, the dreamer is unconscious about his spirituality. If drowning in the ocean, the dreamer is unconscious about how she becomes overwhelmed.
Insects in a dream indicate habits. Most people see them as pests, disease-carrying. Ask your dreamer how they see insects. Dream interpretation is about expanding consciousness. Only people who are open-minded remember dreams. So even when they appear threatening or annoying, only someone who wants to expand consciousness will even pay attention!
As you continue studying and learning, you will come to experience consciousness in its entirety. At that point, the polarity will matter much less because you will evolve from physical thinking to mental thinking. To assist in this process, I recommend daily meditation and evolving your thinking from negative and positive to weak and strong. This is described well in Dr. David Hawkin’s work Power v. Force.
Hello Everyone, This is my
Hello Everyone, This is my first opportunity to use my Dream Scholar advantage! Thanks for coming up with this idea! I expect all will love it as I do!
I'm sure you get questions like this often, but I want to learn more specifically how to answer the Aspect Question for myself as well as others that ask me to help with their dreams.
With the understanding of Positive and Negative Aspects, Conscious, Sub-conscious and Super Conscious mind and the factoring in of the possible qualities that are defined.............
When someone appears in the dream that you can only describe in waking life as negative i.e. selfish, self centered, greedy, assumptive, or by another definition: narcissistic..... and the dreamer does not have these qualities, but is described as the complete opposite......generous, overly service oriented, selfless etc.
How can the dreamer use and apply these polar aspects to the Self?
Could it be that the sub-conscious message is to be more selfish, self centered etc.?
I have come to better understand un-conscious aspects by being honest with what is unknown and based on where the dream is taking place, (basement), but when they appear in other parts of mind it is difficult for me.
I will appreciate any light you can shed for me on this.
I would also like to ask about insects in a dream. Would this symbol be the same as animals? For instance, a tiny insect appears in a cup of liquid? Habitual and or compulsive?
Any feed back is welcomed. Thanks for all the work you're doing.
Fondly,
Donna Cook
