DREAMER: IM, 22 yr old male, single
LUCIDITY FACTOR
Level 4
DREAM REPORT
I immediately became lucid and remembered my goal from earlier so I decided to try teleporting to the Peace Dome. I closed my eyes, imagined the Peace Dome and when I re-opened them I found myself inside a huge wooden dome that resembled something much like a sports facility however the floor was carpet and not concrete. I walked over to what seemed to be a reception desk and a rather attractive lady with blonde hair said to me “Welcome to the Peace Dome, how can I help you?” so I had this conversation with her about all the types of activities and groups that go on in the place such as meditation and yoga and I told her I will just have a look around. I found what appeared to be a kitchen with some nice cake and coffee sitting on a display desk. I decided to take some and proceed looking around… I could see some nice pictures on the walls of sunsets and things then someone came up to me and we started talking about the pictures, he then said I should take a walk in the garden because the next group doesn’t start for 15minutes. Outside I found myself surrounded by tree’s, green grass and a beautiful garden full of colourful flowers. It was a nice sunny day and I decided to fly high into the sky to get a bird’s eye view of the place. It was surrounded by a lot of dense forrest however I could see a road which led to a village off in the distance. I was about to fly off to the village when the dream ended.
DREAM STATE
I was holding the image looking at a printed copy I made and repeating the words “I will enter the Peace Dome in my dreamstate” using the MILD technique. I must have fell asleep about 20mins after the start time but the first dream I recall was a normal dream where I was at a party with friends. I soon realized I was lucid when I saw a clock and decided to do a reality check.
Was this a dream? Yes
If yes, was this a lucid dream? (meaning, a conscious perception of your state while dreaming) Yes
DREAM CONTENT
This dreamer's account reflects either 1) a visualized image created in his conscious mind or 2) a message from his subconscious mind. The dreamer will need to determine which occurred.
If 1, the dreamer's lucidity moved from a reverie state to the fully conscious state of daydreaming precipitated by the image of the Peace Dome sent to Level 4 participants before the experiment. What he described is his imagined Peace Dome experience. This in no way devalues his experience, for imagination is one of the elements involved in reasoning and the human faculty capable of transformation. Our suggestion to this dreamer in preparing for the next lucid dreaming experiment is to practice creating and holding a reverie state each day. This will build the skill of acknowledging the separation of conscious and subconscious minds while bridging the two in consciousness. The dreamer can draw upon this reverie state during the time of the next experiment.
If 2, the dream message revolves around the dreamer's entrained state of mind. This is how the dreamer sees himself moving through life with strong subconscious leanings. He recognizes the potential for learning in this state of mind, based upon illumined thought forms and performing the soul's dharma. In this frame of mind, the dreamer experiences freedom, a fitting dream message in line with the intent of this dreaming session.
