GLOBAL LUCID DREAMING EXPERIMENT on
Incubating Answers to the Economy.
Watch for the results on May 10th

School of Metaphysics teachers and leaders made the collective decision this year to help the world recognize the value of human contact.
The face-to-face interaction is a step forward towards simplicity and the beauty of the Present Moment. In a world that is becoming increasingly technologically-saturated people often find themselves plugged into some form of electronic device rather than communing with other people. (We are so glad you found us here!) This does affect their ability to recall dreams and what happens in those dreams.

Dream Symbol Mural in Louisville!

A Great Day
|

LOUISVILLE, KY What will our mural day look like? On April 25th, beginning at 8am, local artists will begin the journey of painting a mural titled "The City of Dreams." This mural includes famous landmarks and festivities in Louisville with the twist of goofy dream symbols. Amy will be on a morning radio show for two different stations on both Friday and Saturday. Live musicians will reflect harmonious creation. We will have a dream booth set up on the most popular street in Louisville (Bardstown Road), where will have a huge spread of sidewalk in front of the Karma Cafe (the building that the mural will be painted on) for the public to use sidewalk chalk to draw their own dream symbols. The streets will come alive with love, joy, and Self awareness. And when it is all said and done, we will learn, grow, and evolve just as we have done throughout this entire experience, ready to embrace May's full calendar of learning opportunities. This is attractive and this is why we keep growing with quality students.
Thank you all so much for providing this school room. (Elizabeth)

National Dream Weekend Coordinators in each of our schools will be hosting one or more innovative events to bring the dream language, the Universal Language of Mind, to life through creative expression. Several of our schools have decided to enlist the help of local artists in order to paint a large mural depicting the twenty-five most common dream symbols. Our hope with this endeavor is to beautify our cities while providing an educational stimulus for all who see it. We want people to recognize the power of mental images and to heed the images from the subconscious mind in the form of dreams.

| DREAM TEAMS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN The Dream Team has had a couple of opportunities so far this month to interpret dreams for the public and we're thinking that this is certainly something that we'd like to continue throughout this year. It's the playful spirit that shines through when students put their t-shirts on to greet the community that is magnetic, warm and welcoming. As Chelsea observed, the Dream Team gives the community a face to put with the school. A face that is easy to relate to and identify as their own. Of course, the Dream Team will be in attendance at Earth Day interpreting dreams from our booth to the mural and beyond. (Christine)

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK National Dream Weekend is being celebrated with the Art of Dreaming event at the Jacobson House Art Gallery in Norman. Thirteen of the most common dream symbols will be created by local artists on Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday 1-5 on the beautiful grounds of the Jacobson House at the corner of Chautauqua and Boyd. Children will be encouraged to draw their dream images and parents will be educated about how to interpret their childrens' dreams during the activity."

| MAPLEWOOD (St. Louis), MO We have had a tremendous response with our dream team efforts, headed up by Larry Hudson. One of the most valuable benefits of our efforts here has been forming relationships with the managers at the area Select Comfort stores. After making one phone call to an area store, we actually had managers calling us from the other stores requesting our presence to do dream interpretations for them in conjunction with a spring sale they had going on. Everyone we ran into was very welcoming and interested in what we had to say. I see this becoming a very valuable connection to have for future events...
Overall we have all learned some very valuable lessons about planning and communicatin while working together. As well, we've learned some things about the importance of keeping a commitment to a goal and not being attached to the specific ways in which it is achieved. We are already identifying ways to change our approach next year in order to acheive our goal and continue bringing greater awareness of the importance of dreams to the public. (Lena)

Concept for Dallas, TX mural
TULSA, OK Throughout the morning we had a steady stream of artists coming and going. A professional muralist by the name of William Franklin co-created the overall concept of the mural with us. He donated paint, scaffolding, brushes, rollers, and 10 years of mural experience. We painted over the old mural advertisement there and laid down the foundation for the new image a central flower with vines and leaves extending to the left and right. The plan then was to be joined by some of the artists from the morning as well as others to place dream images in each of the 13 leaves. Painting this mural has been my most enjoyable painting experience yet. It is resonant with when we painted the College of Metaphysics barn.
Since Terrence has done a lot of leg work with this project, it looks like it won't be the last. We plan to have this mural finalized in the next couple of weeks and have an event at it as part of a larger downtown event in May. We also have plans in the works for a least one other mural this year.
Saturday afternoon, William showed Terrence, Dawn, Tiara, and I how to improve and add texture to the mural. We were joined by Dorris, one of the artists that helped in the morning. Dorris also a professional muralist has had many dreams of water, so we decided it was fitting for her to draw that symbol. Shortly after she began work on this image the first of the symbols to go up Tiara spotted some people she knew who work for a local paper called The Oklahoma Eagle. She flagged them down, and they decided to take pictures of us with the mural. After negotiating with Tiara, they said that if we submit an article about the project, they'll put us on the front page of the paper. When evening descended, six of our Dream Team members hit the streets to connect with new people and interpret dreams." (Bryon)
