THE HOLOGRAPHIC ENTITY

Did I Just Meet God?This was an unusually short dream for me. I stood in front of a very large human shaped figure with no features, no hair, no face, no fingers. It was completely white (gleaming) and smooth. I knew it was alive, e.g. and knew the entity was neither male nor female but it felt more male towards the end. The entire figure was covered in 1" x 1" squares of "holograms" - each hologram or picture was a moving view into a different place (like movies of life happening somewhere else). Being covered in 1" square movies didn't take away from the solidness of the figure tho and each view was positive in some way (and kind of shiny). It never spoke, and I never spoke (I was in complete awe and couldn't think of a single question). I wasn't frightened but I felt like maybe I should be. It was very powerful but I just wanted to hang out with this person or at least nearby. Then the dream ended and I woke up wondering who I had just met ...

Reflect on your experiences during the 24 to 48 hours prior to having this dream.  You should be able to identify an outstanding realization or awareness that relates to seeing a greater connectedness with the whole universe, or to a new perspective on life, or connectedness that stimulated awareness of many qualities or ways of looking at yourself.

You may have realized that everything your do affects others and everything others do affects you, or you might have noticed that the qualities you appreciate in other people are the same qualities you have built and understand within your Self.

To continue your study of dreams you can visit a School of Metaphysics branch in Chicago, Palatine, Urbana, or Bolingbrook, Illinois.  Call the Chicago branch of the School of Metaphysics at 773-427-0155 to the center nearest you.

MOUSE IN THE HOUSE

I have noticed a mouse in the house, and I don't want to injure or kill it.  I figure if I keep things clean, no garbage, it will go elsewhere for food.  Some time passes by and I walk into a room and there are many medium sized rats scurrying around.  My cat Leo comes into the room and tries to hunt them down but they get away.  Leo is frustrated and meowing loudly.  I feel that this rodent problem might have been given permission to invade my home because I was reluctant to get rid of the mouse.

Animals in dreams symbolize habits.  In this dream your mind becomes filled with habits; doubt, worry, habitual agreeability or passivity, whatever it may be it is something you now practice without conscious thought.  The particular animal chosen is a specific picture, so you can look at the type of animal to help you identify what the habits are.  It would aid you to become more assertive in the way you think.  The habitual attitude that started this experience is one you are aware of, so remember; awareness is the first step to making a change.

FATHERS FUNERAL

My Father passed away in March, from secondary causes due to renal failure, he was very sick for about two years before he died. My dream is an occuring dream that happens about once a week, starting about about one week after my Father died.

I am at his funeral, seeing him in his coffin. The funeral serive is either underway or in the process of getting started, When my Father's body either starts to move, breathe, cough, jerk, ect.... anything to indicate that he really isnt totally dead.  It freaks me out, and I find myself questioning the fact if he is really dead or if there is some little hope that we can bring him back alive.  There are many things that are different in each dream, like it's always at a different church, and location.  In one dream my father started to cough, sat up, jumped out of the coffin, stood right in front of me, then melted (like  the wicked witch on Wizard of Oz) into a pool of liquid. That dream really upset me.  In another dream, before he died, I was prepareing him, plucking his eyebrows and getting him all ready for his death. Last night, I drempt that again, as always he was in his coffin and the priest and funeral director was taking his coffin to put it in the ground, then my Father started to move just a little, like he was just asleep, I went over there and felt that he had a pulse, I started to suggest that he might be alive, not to bury him yet, but no one heard me or either ignored me. If anyone can help me figure out what all this means, it would be great.  I have been wanting to dream about my Father since he passed, but I hate having these dreams, I wish I would just have one nice dream (where he's not dead or dying) about him.

This dream, like all your dreams is about you.  Your father was one of your first major authority figures.  He therefore represents a way you direct your mind that you have practiced for a long time.  Identify your father’s major characteristic and this will give you insight into how you are viewing your inner authority.  Death in a dream is change, so this dream is a very significant message saying that you have not yet finalized a major shift in how you view your own authority.

There is still some way of holding on to the past and it is important to let go so you can move forward in your thinking and in your actions.  If you have regrets in any form, whether this be in your relationship with your father, a past job experience or something of this nature, it is important to allow yourself to release, to forgive and to allow new ways into your life.

TALK TO ME

My daddy passed away 15 yrs. ago and we were very close. I keep having dreams where he is alive again and i'm waiting at home for him to arrive, but he never does even though he is supposed to. Or I call him on the phone and he doesn't answer or just says i'll be home soon. Sometimes there are lots of family members around and i'm never able to get close to my daddy or talk to him because of all the people. Everytime I walk toward him, he walks away to talk to someone, not in the way that he is rejecting me though. I still live in his house, which is where I lived with my daddy too until he passed, but I remained here, as he left the house to me. I've lived here since I was 3 yrs. old. Could that have anything to do with it? Please help me figure this out.Thank you.

Dreams are messages from the subconscious mind in the form of pictures.  These messages provide feedback on the previous day’s experience, reflecting everything from thoughts and attitudes to emotions and actions.  Whenever you dream of parents in a dream, they represent your own inner authority, what you know inside yourself or the part of you that’s connected to your highest potential as an individual.

Your interactions with your father in your dreams relate your relationship with your own inner authority.  In this case, there’s a desire to connect with this part of you, however, the connection isn’t completely made.  Often times you find him close by, which shows that you’re close to connection with this part of you.  Here are some exercises that might help with connection with your father in dreams.

Take out a sheet of paper, and begin listing your strengths, whether they are spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical.  After you’ve written them down, read them everyday.  Affirming the strengths you have you help you identify with a deeper part of you that strives to fulfill dreams, desires, and ideals of the type of person you want to become.

Then, take out another sheet of paper, and write down the type of person you want to become.  Do you want to be a more loving and compassion person, a diplomatic and friendly person, or a determined and concentrated one?  Identifying and then forming a picture of your ideals will help strengthen the connection with your inner authority.  This will show up in your dreams as finally being able to speak with your father.

CAR CRASH TURNS HOUSE INTO ACCORDION

We were trying to help my neighbor, *D, move into a condo.  There was furniture loaded in the back of a truck.  I brought out three small beautiful pieces and didn't want to put them in the open back so put them in the truck in the back window.  One was a carved elephant and one was a intricate temple.  A woman's house had a car crashed into it.  The front was in the living room of the house and the back was looked like an accordion. There was a big wrecker starting to pull it out. *D wasn't hurt but my body was black and blue and I was very sore.  We couldn't get past so we stopped to go inside and look. We were looking at lighting fixtures on the floor and they were very unusual and fragile.  One was long, white and crystal like and the other was intricate flowers.  *D got a call from her duaghter to bring her food... she didn't want to but did.  Got some carryout for her an d then gave macaroni to the rest of us..I didn't like it.  She was not happy.  I was planting flowers and putting faces on some of them and *D got very mad.  So I went to clean them off and they turned into geese and ran.  I almost caught them...I could feel my heat palpating (in reality) and the our telephone rang in the middle of the night and woke me up.

This dream is a good example of how helpful knowing the people in your dream is to the interpretation of the dream itself.  Dreams give feedback on the dreamer’s thoughts, feelings, and actions form the previous day.  It describes these through the images in the dream, where every person, place, and thing in a dream represents parts of the dreamer.

The primary action of the dream is assisting your neighbor *D to move from her house that’s been damaged to a condo.  In dreams, people represent parts of you also known as aspects.  If you were to describe *D in one word, how would you describe her to someone else?  Is she humorous, considerate, willful, or practical?  How you describe her will give you some indication of what quality or aspect she represents in yourself.  This dream describes the movement of this particular aspect of yourself  from one state of mind (house) to another (condo).  For example, if you see *D as being very loving, this dreamt would describe how you view and/or use love in a different way.  Perhaps through a conversation or unexpected situation in your life (like the car crashing into your neighbor’s house in the dream), stimulated you to think differently of what love is, how it’s used, and how to extend it into different parts of your life.

For further exploration, once you understand what she represents in you, write down everything you think about that particular quality in yourself.  Is it useful?  If so, how?  If not, why not, and what would you replace it with?  How can you see the quality being used differently?  How has that quality in you changed throughout your life?  These are questions you can ask yourself that will help you understand consciously the action with the mind.

SHE’S IN MY DREAMS

My mom passed away this past Christmas morning & I have yet to have any dreams of her since her death, where before it was not unusual for her to be in my dreams.  My sister tells me she dreams about her all the time. In my dream I am in my hometown church, and I go to sit down in the pew, but I have to step over this woman who has been battling cancer.  As I step over her (she is sitting, & I am trying to get past her in the pew) she comments on my tanned legs.  I thank her, and as I stepped past her, she leaned down to look at my leg, and kissed my leg.  I laugh & say "I didnt mean to make you kiss my leg!"  She laughs and says, "wow...silky smooth too!!"  So, as mass begins, we both stand up and I look behind me to see my mom walking in the church.  I rolled my eyes & said "what are you doing here!?"  She relies "Aw..yes, my number 1 fan!"  I turn back to the front and begin singing my favorite hymn "Here I Am Lord", I then turn back to her & say "I have missed you soo much..."  and she said "Yea, I know..." and then I woke up.  Was this my mom contacting me, or is this just my imagination?

It is very possible for loved ones, especially those who have passed away recently, to visit you in your dreams.  Universally, dreams are messages from the subconscious mind that give feedback on the previous days experiences.  Visitation dreams are special dreams in which the dreamer experiences contact with an actual person in a dream.

How you communicate with your mom will be the greatest indicator of whether or not your experiencing a visitation dream.  If the communication was more mind-to-mind and telepathic, then you’ve experienced a visitation dream.  One way to see this is to see whether or not your mom’s lips were moving or not.  If they weren’t, then the communication was more mind-to-mind.  If her lips were moving, then she would represent a deeper part of yourself, your own inner authority, and your relationship with that part of you, because dreams universally represent the dreamer’s thoughts, attitudes, feelings, and actions in a picture form.

FUNERAL PIG

My dad passed away like a month ago. Well on the 11th I started dreaming about entering the funeral home where the viewing was at and seeing dead bodies trown around and all of the sudden I get attacked by a pig. A very angry pig but someone always come in time to pull the pig away before it harms me.

The symbol of death in a dream represents change. People in a dream represent aspects of a dreamer’s mind. If the person in the dream is someone you know from your waking life, you can discover the part of you they represent by describing them in one word. For example, are they caring, angry, doubting, trustworthy?  Because the funeral home is filled with dead bodies, this part of the dream shows that you were becoming aware of ways in which you have changed, yet you have not fully released the past.

Animals live by instinct and automatic response, because of this they represent habitual ways of thinking. Like people, if you describe how you think about pigs you will have a clue as to the kind of habit. This dream is showing a way that your thinking becomes habitually destructive when you look at the ways you have changed mentally. When a person becomes habitual there is a need to exercise the will.  This could be as simple as driving to work in a different route, or talking to someone you have never spoken with before.

If this is a repeated dream, this is communicating a need to place attention on this pattern on thinking.

LIFE GIVING BLOOD

I was with a group of friends including my ex. Somehow our conversation came to a discussion about why we would or could be closer in our relationship. He started explaining to me that he kept distance in the relationship because he was dying and his condition made him tired at lot. He was saying that he loved me and he didn't want me to be hurt when he died.  He said he didn't want to discuss it with people because he didn't want people to think he was weak. The issue had something to do with his blood and he was saying that it needed to be replaced. I was irritated with him for not telling me, but we discussed what he needed to get well again. After our discuss I agreed to give him my blood, but until then I started taking care of him. Every thing else we did after that was together. We became closer, making sure he'd be okay until I could give him my blood. It seemed that he didn't want me to be far from him from then on.

Dreams involving the opposite sex indicate the relationship between the conscious waking mind and the inner subconscious mind often described as soul.  This dream is showing communication between you and a part of your inner Self, specifically the subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind is present in every experience, it greets you in the morning, and it is with you during times of joy and times of pain, it even regulates functions in the body like breath and food digestion.  Those who have experienced this soul connection have talked about fulfillment in their life.  We know them as the poets, writers, scientists, humanists, and spiritual teachers that have changed the course of history for them and us.  You must choose to follow the feeling, the fulfillment and satisfaction feeling, that runs deeper than a physical possession like the fulfillment of getting a new car, apartment, or new wardrobe.  It is the feeling that your inner Self is nourishing you because in your day-to-day life you learn and add to yourself in terms of becoming a better person that is loving and compassionate to yourself and others and the many ways that expresses

This dream is showing the movement toward listening to your inner Self and caring for it by sustaining communication with it.  Remembering your dreams, and learning in your life will help you progress to the point where you experience more inner support and guidance in the day-to-day life.

BIG BEARS

I had a dream that there were bears in my house, but they were laying on the floor sedated. I was comforted that they were unconcious. Then for some reason, I picked one up and dragged it into my bedroom. And I jumped over it to get something out of a drawer. Then I looked back and it was awake--but it didn't want to hurt me. Then my sister was there, and I asked her to help me bring the bear outside near the pool. She helped me, and once we got out by the pool with the bear he was sleeping again. And I just sat there waiting for him to wake up again.

Animals lack the grey matter for cognitive thinking, or producing images through the imagination.  Their movements are based on instinct and past experiences.  In dreams animals represent habitual ways of thinking of the dreamer because habits are not engaging the imagination we as humans possess.  This dream is showing you that there are big habits in your mind that you have covered up or have become unconscious to.

When you go in the bedroom the bear wakes up meaning that you have an awareness of this habit and are observing it.  The rest of the dream is showing your desire to understand this habitual way of thinking as you go about your daily experiences.  How would you describe bears in one word?  Would they be lazy, comfort seeking, mean, strong?  Once you identify how you see bears you will have a deeper, subjective, understanding of what habitual way of thinking is taking up space in your mind and life.

The use of any habit means there is compulsive thought or action and no use of imagination.  It is important for each person to use their imagination for it is the means by which we change and evolve.  Imagine a different route to work, place yourself in uncomfortable situations that challenge your comfort like speaking in front of large groups of people or serving in a shelter.  These imagined thoughts will accelerate your process of growing up and experiencing fulfillment every moment of your life.

RUNNING FROM VAMPIRES

I had a dream last night.  It started off where I was at this house with this guy.  I did not know this guy in real life but he was my boyfriend in the dream.  We had sex.  Then it changed into where both of us were holding hands walking through this house.  It was full of vampires.  He turned up missing in this house.  I was looking all over the place for him.  Then i find this room where all the vampires congregate.  They were all in there.  It was almost like a movie but i didn't watch anything like this before i went to bed.  All these vampire were in there and there was a separate room where they kept all the humans...one by one they would take one out and bite them.  I was standing in the back of the room looking for the guy i was with.  I couldn't find him anywhere.  I was upset.  Then one of the vampires saw me and started chasing me...i was able to get to a wall where there was a little cubby hole with  a door where the vampire couldn't find me.  When the vampire passed me i crept out and tried to get away.  Some one saw me trying to escape.  A girl.   She helped me to get out.  She led me to this hallway that had doors to the outside at the end of it.  I got to the hallway and she told me to run.  I ran but there was this really tall and big vampire that came out of nowhere and chased me...The girl through a rock at the ceiling and broke the sky light and let the light in so the vampire would melt.  I got out the door in the sunlight and i woke up...but  now i can't stop thinking about this guy i was with in my dream but i dont' know him in real life.  can someone help me with this?

This dream is reflecting your harmony between conscious and subconscious minds.  You represent the conscious mind in a dream.  The conscious mind is the part of you that is associated with physical waking life and the body.  The subconscious mind is that part of you that is aids you to manifest desires and is deeper than physical.  This is why you cannot physically see your soul.  Only when there is harmony between the two minds can creation occur which is shown by sex in this dream.

The dream is also showing you are not aware of what you are potentially creating, however awake enough to realize that you want to be connected to that part of yourself.  Examine closely the activities (mental, emotional and physical) that were done the day before this dream.  This will give insight into how you can have this connection with yourself every day of your life.  This is the reason why you cannot get this symbol out of your head.  It represents the harmony experienced between your waking and inner life which is attractive.

The vampires are parts of Self that drain energy from you.  These are the parts of Self that must be overcome if you are to sustain a lasting relationship with your inner Self and experience the love, joy, peace, and fulfillment that comes from it.  The little girl is one of your keys to this task.  She represents a part of yourself that can use the will to bring in light-awareness.  Bringing light to situations and your thoughts allows you to see the unproductive doubting thoughts that drain your energy.  Bring all your thoughts into the light of your awareness.

One way of doing this is by saying your thoughts out loud. As an example if you experience frustration or irritation say, “I am frustrated that the dog won’t stop barking.”  After saying that simple thought you can release it, and focus your attention on the book you are reading and say, “I am enjoying this book.”  Then you hold your attention where you want it.  If you know where your attention is, then you are aware.  Bringing awareness to your thoughts and therefore emotions and actions will give you the space to receive your soul mate and fulfill all of your heart’s desires.
